Thanks for the old pictures of Chicago. I always enjoy looking at them. As your question about the "Wanda"apartments, I can not help you there. It dosn't ring a bell with me. As for M Squad, I will have to stay up late tonight and watch it on TV.

I grew in Logan Square until we moved to Portage Park and I remember very well in Logan Square the guy coming down the alley to sharpen knives. I also remember the guy coming around and selling vegtables as well.

Do you remember the HIP drive in. We use to park on the street next to the drive in on the east side and watch the movie until we got chase away. We used to go to Rolling Stone Records a lot as well. I rode my Suzuki dirt bike to the bottom of the pit in 1976. Now getting out was another story. I almost made it up the hill. I had to walk the bike out part of the way. That was one heck of a hole in the ground! Thanks for the info. I always wondered about this pit with the lifts and what the name of this ski area was.

Tomb, Are you talking about the tracks that ran north next to the Brick Yard, crossing Addison and going through the cemetary up to the old Dunning Hospital? I can remember going over the hump on Irving Park Road, and riding my dirt bike along the tracks between the cemetaries just north of Addison, west of Nagle. I think that is all gone now, unless we are talking about different tracks.

Did anyone ever bowl at Calo Bowl on the northside at around 5400 N. Clark Street? A guy named Robby Robinson owned. They had another bowling alley near by on Clark Street near Bryn Mair. Does anyone remember the name of it?
