in a 1967 photo of Hollywood Towers, On the South side of W.Hollywood appeared to be a tavern/lounge with a 1950's Pabst Blue Ribbon sign in front, At the bend of Lake Shore Dr. What was that place?. Quite unusual for such, If you ask me......

I've heard of some story. At the Jack-in-the-Box on Fullerton nr Kimball. This I heard took place in 1973. A customer was so irate at the muffled sound relay system, That he literally punched the translite Jack & It shattered. Wow, Talk about "Anger Management", Gee whiz....... Even if i'm not a fan of such, If forced for some oddball reason. Maybe only in some extremes.

There was one on Cicero nr Dakin (S of Irving Park), Fullerton nr Kimball, Chicago nr Michigan, 10000 S.Western, 7000 block of W.North Av in Oak Park.

The trend is DEFINITELY continuing. In an alley 6200 S. between the tracks & S.Kostner. On 50th nr Western. Starting again on Western nr Madison and FURTHER north......

Where was this place?. A 1965 photo showing a river creation with a low bridge in it's recreation area was shown. And it said the hospital was in Chicago.

As late as 20 years ago, Viewing NW from the C&NW Station. There was a small grocery store, Which had a 1950's front with red plastic lettering SUPER MARKET. If anybody knows, What was the name of that place & Where was it approximately?.

Was it about some reality-dance contest TV show???????????. It's most likely that the subject you were plugging in for was NOT Chicago-based or Chicago-related. This website & forum has to do with things pertaining to Chicago or Chicagoland. What you were promoting was a more national & unrelative subject.

I guess they referred the area to a more tougher part of Rogers Park. Which was probably for about 50 years or so, Known to be a notorious district of Rogers park. With the tenaments & such.

At about the 4700 block of Polk, I Somehow noticed that there were those smaller street lights, That I believe were the new LED street lights. I could be wrong, But maybe not.

Probably as early as 1947, When CTA was founded, Taking over a more private enterprise Chicago Surface Lines. The more square shaped ones came probably in the late 1950's or early 1960's.

The one built in 1969 on Davis nr Orrington was called the State National Bank, I believe.

It was a Ritchie's, I believe. It was a Duk's franchise later on. But a long time ago on the E side of Kimball, South of North Av. Was a Spanky's.

It was probably one of the most putrid odors around, As opposed to the Blommer Chocolate Factory, Proctor & Gamble (which was down 1200 W.North), Reed Candy co, Gonnella bakery, etc.
