Wasn't the theater directly on the northwest corner of Harlem and North ave where the Walgreens stands now in in Elmwood Park? If not, was Walgreens always in that location? I seem to remember Walgreen being adjacent to Sears on the east side of Harlem, north of North ave-thanks all

OK my fellow Chicago-ans from the Humboldt Park area, i got a good question for you. WE lived a few doors from that intersection on Kimball til the end 1967. (i was 9 years old that year) The GO-TO hot dog joint was on the n/w corner. What was its name and does anyone have a picture or two of it during its heyday? The structure still stands--but long vacant. I do remember that their sign adverti

Lets discuss ADVENTURELAND in Addison,IL. As a child of 6-7 I loved our visits and people I know that had been there have great memories as well. There are also some with not so great memories in the later years. What is the DEFINITIVE reason for its closing? I am well aware of the controversy related to its demise. Id like to separate fact from fiction here like adults can and will.

There is a building at the North East corner of Harding and Lemoyne It has a corner stone that says it was laid by the Masonic Fraternity in 1925.I grew up on that block and I had only known it as the NorthWest southern Baptist church, at least from the mid 70s. Can any of our dedicated pros here dig anything up on this? Maybe photos? Thanks

They were hoping to open at the beginning of 2011. I will be going back for another photo shoot on their permission.

Although this isn't a ghost sign in 1968 it very well could be now. In the photo is one of my brother's school buddies. I couldnt say exactly where this pic was taken except that it was most certainly on the west side -North and Pulaski area. Does anyone recognize what company may be advertised on the wall? ( the picture border states Nov 1968, our family never finished a film roll all at on
