Candy factory fire. Northwest side?

Does anybody remember the Candy Factory Fire on the northwest side in the early 1990's? The factory was on the north side of the street and I believe it was Diversey near Elmwood Park. I remember the smoke and all the fire equipment. I can't remember the Candy Factory name. After the fire the building was replaced with apartments or condo's.

Sounds like it might be the old Kimball Candy Company at about 6600 W. Belmont. I didn't live in Chicago when it had a fire, so I can't tell you when it happened, but it was before the 1990s. The factory was just to the east of the Milwaukee Road spur line going up to Dunning, and was replaced with several condo projects.
