I bowled "semi-pro" back in the late 50's early 60's before transferring out
to the S F area on a job promotion. Tried verifying team mates, teams and scores but
couldn't come up with an old CHICAGO BOWLER site..Joe and Herta Kissel published the
paper and that would be a good reference site and memory jogger. I bowled as Dick
Wagner and the more professional Dick Wagner did bowl for Hamms along with Ed Kowolics in the All Star at Faetz while I was with Pabst/O'Keefes/LaBatts alongside
Glen Allison in the last year or so..Memories and stories galore..I still have my
photos from the upstairs at The Petersen Classic..

@wags300, did you check on the website:

Dr. Jake's Bowling History Blog

https://bowlinghistory.wordpress.com/

A lot of Chicago bowling history there. And you can also asked J.R. Schmidt, Ph.D. (Doctor Jake) if he has any info.

but I saw the pic on Dr Jakes site and refreshed the old memory bank..I do
remember Ellis shooting 256, 300, 256 for 812 one year..

I always loved bowling on five man teams. I have a lot of good memories of this.
