Just like with any repetitive action, prolonged gaming can lead to sore hands and, in extreme cases, carpel tunnel syndrome.

Does anyone recall a three lane bowling alley / bar around 26th Street and Tripp during the 1940's or 1950's?

I saw that Skip. I wonder if this place had only three bowling lanes? I couldn't find anything online about it.

Actually, Fred Hansen died of a heart attack, not the diabetes. He had quite a few of them from Dec of 1997 until his death on 8/1/2006. I thank you for wondering about my uncle. It is comforting to know people still think of him on occasion.

Does anyone remember in the 60s a bowling alley at North & Rockwell.

It was on the north side of North ave. It was on the 2nd. floor above

the dime store. It was called North Bowl.I want to say it had 8 lanes

and the owners name was Stan. I bowled their on a kids leauge,it cost

3 games for $1.25.

Humboldt Bowl used to run the Hochsteter (sp?) Tournament back in the 60's before Paul Krumske moved it to Spencer's Marina City Bowl.
