I have been reading more about Theresa's Lounge over the past few weeks. I am no expert on the Chicago Blues scene, but find it amazing that a bar/tavern/club could become so popular and famous out of the basement of a nondescript location at 4801 S. Indiana.

Gladys Luncheonette started in the basement of 4541 S. Indiana. Those days are long gone.
