my first memory of a television in a classroom,was 1970. I went to St.Marys of Mt. Carmel, on 67th. and Wood St. I remember that ch. 11 was a new station,back then,and the teachers and nuns would roll in a small television on a gray tin cart. They would tune in for maybe ,one program during the afternoon. But my favorite memory of television in school was that spring, we all watched Chicago Cub Ernie Banks hit his 500th home run. That was pretty cool to see the nuns cheer him on .I believe it took several games for Ernie to finaly hit number 500, so we knew we would be watching baseball on those few afternoons. What great memories that little school has made,
