I just created a FB Group called "Epiphany School, Chicago Students Who Attended in the 1960s and 1970s". I am new to FB so I am not sure if it will work, but for those of you from Epiphany who are on FB, see if you can request to join. That way we can post pictures to share. I have a very busy next few weeks, but after that, I will see what photos I can dig up and will post them.

I remember Vicki, but I don't know where she lived. Definitely not on my block. I don't know Elizabeth. Did you know any of the Gumos family? They lived on 24th Place. Kathy, Sandy, Janet, Paul, and David. Janet was my age. Sandy & Kathy were a few years older and Paul and David were younger, so you might not have.

Wow, that really is different! I also remember the Bednar house as yellow. I'd have to go past the street to remember who lived next to them, if I knew. Unless there were kids at Epiphany I probably wouldn't have. We lived at 24th & Harding--the first street East of Pulaski.

Haha I forgot about the stretch game with the knives--we did that as well. Pitching pennies, playing some kind of marble game where we dug a small hole in the dirt and rolled the marbles--I can't remember if we aimed for the hole, or tried to knock our opponents' marbles into it. We also pitched pennies, played Rover Red Rover...did anyone play Ring Relivio 1-2-3? I'm not sure if that was parti

OK, forget that last post. I will need peoples' FB profiles to create a group and invite at least the initial members. I will work on creating a page and will post the link here.

Yes, Jimmy (and all of us) had curly hair. He was born in 1956 so he probably graduated from Epiphany in 1970. He went to St. Rita after that. I agree with the FB page. I only just joined in the past month or so. It would have to be Epiphany grads 1960s/1970s to cover everyone in these initial posts. As I said, I am new to FB, but I just created this page: Epiphany School, Chicago Graduates

No brothers, just Donna and Nancy. Nancy died of ovarian cancer about 15 years ago. Yes, Pinkie was very pretty. I think my brother Jimmy had a crush on her. I also have a few of my class pictures, a few of my old report cards, and the huge 8th grade class photo, in black and white, taken on the altar in the church. I still also have my 8th grade ribbons. I agree on posting pictures, that

I was never at your house, but I would send your family holiday cards and probably birthday cards for your dad as well. I remember the exact address. I'm so happy to hear your parents are doing well. Tell your dad Linda Prosecky said hi. I worked for him starting around 1978. He would definitely remember my sister-in-law Nellie.

Sorry--yes, my bad Epiphany math skills. Karen Bednar was between me (1975) and my sister (1973). I went in the wrong direction. Donna was in that small white house. She had very short light brown hair, very pretty girl. Her sister Nancy was a year older than you and had very dark brown hair.

Hi Frank. Donna lived right between the Metoyers and the Gronks on the same side of the street. Their house was the next house West of Metoyers or East of Gronks. I think they were pretty much directly across the street from the Serduiks. They were in the basement apartment--Donna graduated from Epiphany with me in 1975 and her sister Nancy graduated in 1973. Their grandmother and Aunts lived upst

Chuck--Marybeth was one of my bridemaids. We still send Christmas cards back and forth, but I haven't seen her in many years--probably a good 10 or 15. My mom and her mom were very good friends. My brother went to school with either Michael or Mark--I can't remember which. And FBC2618--then you must know the Babich family. I am still in touch with Donna. She was my best friend through high scho

Hi Chuck, It looks like you graduated from Epiphany the year before me. I'm sure we knew a lot of the same people and pretty much had the same teachers--Ms. Davis, Mrs. Lorek, Mr. Leyden, Mr. McMullen, Ms. Gatilao, Mrs. Petersen, Ms. Andres...trying to remember them all off the top of my head. And of course the priests--Msr. Cummings, Msr. Hayes, Msr. Enright. We stayed in the neighborhood for

Are your parents still living? Your dad would remember us. If I worked to close your dad always drove me home or had one of the other guys do it. I only lived about 3 blocks away. He was very good to us. Butch would remember Nellie, probably not my sister and me. I worked on 26th Street when Willy and Ozzie used to get into fist fights in the back room over "ups".

I don't know how I remember after all these years, but you guys lived on Greenleaf in Wilmette, right?

Linda. My sister (Sue) and then my sister-in-law (Nellie) worked for your dad and Butch for a very long time. Nellie wound up managing the North Riverside store. We knew your parents very well. I remember all of the old guys from 26th street.

Just stumbled upon this thread. I graduated from Epiphany in 1975. I didn't realize there were reunions. My brothers graduated in 1964 (I think), 1970, and 1978, and my sister graduated in 1973. Good seeing the names some of the posters mentioned--I remember them all. I had Mr. Leyden in 4th grade. We used to call him Ironside. I guess we weren't too politically correct back then. My sister
