When i worked at the Chicago Motor Club in the late 1960's. I would go over to State Street and go into the theatre just for buttered popcorn to bring back to work. No Movie. Skip

How many remember getting free tickets for Cubs games in the 1960's for putting seats upright in the grandstand. Always tried to take one of the last rows. There might have been 3 or 4 seats in the whole ballpark that someone actually had a ticket for the game. Skip

I went to grade school in the 1950's at Bateman. 20 E Burton in Chicago. Now there are Condo's at that location. The building was built and owned by Cyrus Mc Cormick. It is now a landmark. Skip

What was the store at Randolph and State in the 1960's - 1970's that every other week had a going out of business sign. Carlo used to own the newspaper stand on the corner. There was a Auction place across the street. Skip
