Does anyone remember Lindahl construction on Clybourn Ave. My family lived in the 2400 block of Clybourn in the 1970's and I remember there was something with Lindahl next door to us.I don't know if it was the main office or a storage yard. I found a website on them, but could not find anything on Clybourn. The company is now in Bensenville on Green Street and have seen it on Bing and google maps.

All I can recall is any lot in the area was fair game to access the tracks in the alley,
so we could get to the Welby Clock factory campus on the other side.

Welby Clock...was that the factory just east of the river on the north side of Fullerton, where the shopping center is now?

Bingo! (tu)
Between the River and the Tracks.
And from Fullerton north to about where the True Value campus began
Welby maintained about 12 acres of beautifuly manicured lawn.

Now that Lindahl Construction: How close or far were they from the corner?

I knew Mayfair Construction had a location on Elston and W.E. O'Neil had a shop and yard south of Diversey on Clybourn.

Lindahl started with 2 trucks and a crawler over on North Avenue west of Cicero, but I cannot recall them being on Clybourn in my time.
