Old Chicago residential phone directories

I'm looking for Chicago residential directories from the 1930s, 1950s and 1960s. Do these come on CD-ROM? If so, how much do they cost and can anyone lead me to a specific site where I can buy them? I would appreciate any help you can give me on this. I'd like to look up some old friends and relatives from the city. I'm no longer living in Chicago, but still have it all in my heart! Thanx for all your help. Really appreciate it!

A seller has CDs of old Chicago directories on Ebay. Originals are found on occasion there as well. Chicago Public Library has them, too.
