The Anton Hotel at 4835 W. 22nd street do any body remember this place?
Some of us guys from Hawthorne Works would go there at lunch and watch the Topless girls dance. This was in the 60's & 70's.

If you ever saw the old St. Valentine's Day Massacre movie starring Jason Robards, the scene in the coffee shop where the North Side gang tries to take out Capone by having a group of touring cars come up and firing machine guns with blanks, and then when Capone's people come out, a second caravan fires live ammo with the hope of getting Al, that actually happened in the coffee shop of the Anton/Alton Hotel. A friend of mine was five years old, and lived on Cicero, just north of the old Ship Casino, (the building still exists, and has a beauty parlor on the first floor, east side of Cicero just north of the tracks) and witnessed this looking out the living room windows.
