Former Restaurant?

...I was wondering if anybody remembers the name of the restaurant on the southwest corner of Elston & Montrose? The building is now painted pink and has been abandoned for quite some time. I remember it being a Greek owned restaurant that was open 24/7. Thanks

The Coach and Six takes me back to the mid 1970's eating there.

Found this online from EveryBlock

5/18/2012 - B Duggan, the owners of Vosnos had been looking to sell for a long time, and the guy who was operating it was ill at the end. I think his son tried to run it for a while, but he had other businesses to deal with. The place used to be quite good when the Vosnos family ran it. They opened the original restaurant on that site back in the late 60s or early 70s when it was called Coach and Six Restaurant. Before that it was a lamp store.

More on this corner if your interested,

Very much so. It was owned by Gus and his son Petie. Previously they had Snack Time at Fullerton and Cicero. Gus was my grandfather's nephew, and my grandfather used to help them out as the night manager at Snack Time. They sold Snack Time and took over Super Cup sometime after my grandfather passed away in 1971.

I found one yesterday but can't find it today. It was in reference to a senator having his picture taken there maybe in the 50's or 60's.

If this the place, it looks like a Burger King is there now according to Google Maps.

Here are some listings that I found online for Jack's

That's it. I thank you. Sad to see it's gone. It's been well over 40 years make that 45 years since I've seen it. I hope the family is doing well, they lived around the corner from me.

That restaurant at Elston and Montrose is still vacant, and so is the dollar store that was located behind it.
