I am trying to locate and photograph all the electrical substations designed by architect Hermann von Holst. One of these is/was supposedly located at 4006 W. Fulton. I drove there today and Fulton doesn't appear to exist in the 4000 block. Can anyone give me any insight about this? Thanks.

Fulton ends at Central Park. There is a substation at 3006 W. Fulton, maybe that's the one they meant?

Google streetview doesn't show anything at 3006 W. Fulton. Could the substation have been torn down?

It's possible - the street view shows a big concrete driveway right off of the corner which might have been for building access.

Edit: found this old photo - looks like it has indeed been demolished. The building in the background (FLW's EZ Polish factory, then being used by Universal Foods) and on the left are still standing.
