Hi I'm new here and not sure if I am following protocol. I saw a post from rustymuscle (?) that he had a 1951 phone book. I am looking for an address for a Louis and Christine Marino in Oak Park or Chicago in the 1950's. Can anyone direct me? I live way out in the NW burbs (McHenry) and will travel to a Chicago library if necessary. Thanks for any help.

Rusty, could you please look up Joseph or Josef Kaczynski for an adress on Haddon or the 1800 block of W. Huron? I remember as a kid in the 60's living at 1825 W. Huron St. (MOnroe 6-4912). My Mother told me before I was born in 1957 they had lived at two other Addressses in the 1800 block and when they came to Chicago after the war they lived on Haddon Ave.. Thank you!

West Town, in the 1957 reverse, a Kaczynski is listed at 1829 W. Huron with that MO 6-4912 phone number. Two Joseph's in the 1951 directory but not on Huron or Haddon.

Richard, nothing in the 1951 phone book or 1957 reverse. It was a cursory search, LOTS of Petersons!

Rusty Thank you. That would have made sense. 1829 was a large 6 flat (or larger) two doors down from when we lived at 1825. Could you please tell me the addresses of the other two Joseph Kaczynski's you found in the 1951 directory?

Thank you again for you help,

Joe
