Great event. Great weather. Hats off to the CAF and sponsors.

I enjoyed volunteering.

Great photos - thanks for posting! Nice to see good weather this year (unlike in 2012). Another great Open House for fans of the built environment in Chicago, and an incredible amount of volunteer work.

On WGN Radio -- Dean Richards' Sunday Morning -- last Sunday, during the program in their street-side Showcase Studio, Richards commented on the line of people standing nearby and asked his producer to find out what it was all about; the program producer informed him -- if I'm not mistaken -- that they were people from the Open House Chicago.

Yep, there were long OHC lines to get into the Tribune building on both days of the event.

I wish OHC was twice a year so one could get to more sites. Was very impressed with Elks Memorial, but less so with Brewster Apartments. My parents wanted to see the new day care building at U of C and my dad told the architect he thought that the building was sterile!

Nice set of photos - thanks for posting them.
