There was a Rexall drug store on the corner-NW of 71st and Western. I can still recall the tast of the fountain coke. I think it is a currency exchange now. You could go north on Western and shop at Sloan's department store. It had a great skylight in it with wonderful wooden floors.
Also Mulay's Pharmacy on 79th near Kedzie. Joe,the owner always had a cigar hanging out of his mouth. His wife Mary wore the widest make-up. They had a son who was also a pharmacist who was quite dishy-at least to an 11 year ol girl!
