Across from the wood brick alley on Astor. "The Fury" filming location

I didn't want to interrupt the discussion on the wood brick replacement in the alley between State and Astor, but I did want to bring this to any Chicago film buff's attention. Check out the building at the east end of the wood brick alley, across Astor. You might recall this is the psychic institute where Amy "Gillian" Irving was cared for in the 1978 movie, "The Fury." When she escaped she ran north on Astor to Kirk Douglas, who shot a couple of men dead, one at the south east corner of Astor and North.

I did security work on this scene for 2 days and I think it lasted 2 minutes on the screen.
