Can anyone tell me aobut this shop? when? where? when was Chicagos last 4 digit phone numbers? Reason is..I found an old teeny tiny 1 1/2 inch, includes the bale for key chain I suppose, folding knife with 'faux' mother of pearl sides with the red lettering of Rinaldo Tailors CH.8286 on one side. Im sure this was an advertising piece, just want to know more. Thanks in advance.
I did a random check of Chicago phone books from 1937 to 1962. Didn't find a Rinaldo Taylors. Also checked a couple suburban phone books. Doesn't mean it isn't from Chicago, just haven't found it. It could be from Chicago city/suburbs, it could be from another large metro area. Can you post a photo of it?
Hope this pic comes out

I just did a general search on Google for "Rinaldo Tailors." There is a vintage jacket listed on Etsy which was made by Rinaldo Tailors. If this is the same place, it appears to have been in St. Louis.
Do the Google search and see what you think...if it is the same one.
