In the eightys, in the Chicago area, I used to buy a rolled candy at the gas stations. It was a roll about the size of Rolos or Spree. The candy was a semi hard candy which was a whitish opaque color with a softer fruit center that was muti colored red, green or yellow. They tasted similar to the fruit filled swedish hard candies that are out around the holidays. There were about 15 1/2 inch pieces in a roll. I can't find the name this candy anywhere. maybe it was a Chicago regional thing. Does anyone remember this? I don't live in the area anymore.
