when I was a kid you could buy kayo in a glass bottle it was sold in vending machines.

Where was that factory?. On W.Schiller?. Because I remember a red neon sign above the building.

Haven't seen the bottled product in ages, but I buy the small packets of Kayo chocolate mix. It's like Swiss Miss and comes in regular or light. Mix with water or milk; serve warm or cold. I found it at the Sara Lee outlet stores; 5 packs for $1.00. Nice for the coming cold weather.

I have an old 7 oz. bottle of Kayo Drink. The back only states: bottled under authority of Chocolate Products, Chicago.

We used to buy Kayo from a tavern across the street from where we lived. Which reminds me of in addition to the Kayo, We also used to buy pretezel sticks. The pretzel sticks were sold in a flat cardboard box with cellophane about the size of a CD case.
