Geez. I can't believe you guy chose that photo... My dad worked at Norton's for years. I spent many a night near that corner waiting for him to get off work. I haven't been back there in ages...

The old Avondale savings bank is a place I recall vividly, standing in long lines on Fridays with my mother waiting to cash her paycheck. I drove by last year and it was gone - when was it demolished?
