My Uncle, Big John Pericles, own this station, have some great memories of meeting Ernie Banks and Billy Williams after games at Wrigley. It was called Big Johns Standard / Amoco. Any one have any pictures?

I vagely remember a Pet Shop on Central called Gluts, I believe it was on the west side of the street.When did they close?

If that's the one 1/2 a block west of Broadway, it was a great place.I was about 10 years old and my dad took me fishing , but it started to rain real hard. we were in that bait shop and the guy let me fish out of a big holding tank that had a bunch of hungry bluegills in it....I think they were having a better time than I did...watching me catch them over and over..a great memory...

This is correct, as a kid I remember the dark alleys and we played ball later with the addition of the lights...
