AHA! Thanks Kchi! Did a search for Silvestri and Paulina and came up with 2720 North Paulina Street, Chicago, IL That makes sense because where the new houses are now west of Paulina and south of Diversey, there used to be factories and a railroad spur. Thanks for the help! Mike

None of these are correct, which is why I'm thinking it was an outlet store or the factory itself. My family bought Silvestri Xmas lights there. It was on the north side, somewhere near Diversey I think. It had a gravel parking lot in front of an older factory building. If I remember correctly, there was a railroad spur in front of it with a tank car sitting there. It makes sense then that

Hi all, Sorry I double posted this on the regular forum... I'm wondering if anyone knows where on the north side was the Silvestri factory, or factory outlet, or something along those lines. I remember being there in the early 80s, and I think it was near Diversey, but I'm not sure. Thanks, Mike
