Chicago Harley Davidson.there also was a motorcycle shop on Archer ave near Harlem ave in the 50's and 60's sold b.s.a. Triumph. old wood floors.the smell of motor oil, can't beat that. Also Chicago Coin on Archer ave near Naragansett.RON K. p.s. I like the bike shops pic's.

I know the place you are talking about very well. they also did work for airway Lincoln, which was a few blocks from St Bruno's. my brother and sister both went to Currie,then my sister later went to Lourdes. the gang I hung with Edwards boy's are mostly all gone now.or are getting really old. ut still fun times and good memories, heck even some of the bad times compared to today seem good.

I lived at 4736 Karlov not too far from the last location. went into the dealer to always check out the El Dorado's and went to Airway Lincoln the other way near Archer and Pulaski. and bought a Mark 111, I miss those days every day.RON K. p.s. years later bought a used black 1971 Eldo just to try it out.

WOW the Driftwood.went out with Lynn. the owners daughter. had some good times at that place. they also owned the Red Barrel. and the Capricorn farther south.I hear later they opened a place on Western ave. hey you have to give me credit its been fifty years. good times RON K.

I knew Gus from the Gerties in Brighton Park.and John the shoemaker from across the street. and the record store on the corner. I traveled those streets many a day and night. good times. RON K. p.s. Brigton mens shop..good clothes. snappy.

shopped at everyone of them including when Shoppers World opened up acroSs from Midway airport.and they had the Bond Car on display when Goldfinger came out in 1964. worked at the old Airway hotel for awhile. good times for sure. RON K.

I worked at Dicrecendo's Pizza or archer ave. in the 60's MY Mother worked at Syrena's in Brighton park. and at Cherry lounge and club Moravia. I miss the old Chesdans on archer ave. and remember Driftwood steakhouse on Pulaski.good times real good times'.glad I found this site good memories for sure RON K.
