If I remember correctly this firehouse survived the Chicago Fire. I can remember going down on the first floor and there were still remnants of where they kept the horses. It was torn down many years ago and now a parking lot is there.

Sorry, I had it in my title... The fire house was on Clinton and Washington, right on the corner of those two streets.

Does anybody know the firehouse number? I used to go there with my father when I was a little girl and for the life of me I can't remember the number. TIA
