Thank you so much for responding and giving me the info and address of the restaurant. Watching the All-Star Game last July and seeing Tim McCarver brought back memories of the restaurant, and I have been trying to pinpoint the exact location ever since. Thanks again.

I know it was there in 1966 because a cousin had dinner there with Mike Shannon and Tim McCarver of the St. Louis Cardinals when they were in town for a Cubs game.

Does anyone recall The Cottage Restaurant on North Clark St. near Wrigley Field back in the 60's? It was a popular hangout for the ballplayers. Seems like no one remembers this place.

I'm trying to remember the name of a restaurant near Wrigley Field in the 60's and maybe even into the 70's. The ballplayers used to patronize this place as it was one of the few restaurants in the 3400 or 3500 block of Clark St. at that time. It may have been called "The Cottage" but my memory fails me. Does anyone remember this place?
