I do vaguely recall the Ford City cotton candy, but I don't recall seeing it at any of the other locations I was ever at. Of course, Mom may have jsut steered me around it to keep it out of sight and out of my belly.

Hugh I vaguely recall the diner, but I know we never ate there. No recollection at all on the funeral parlor or bar. That is an odd combination! Classic south side! I do recall a bar, maybe, that looked like a lighthouse or something along those lines...west side of street, maybe b/w 63rd & 59th somewhere?

I remember being at the last show before Orphans closed down...that was a great place to see bands. IIRC, I think it is now Hi Tops. At least Lincoln Hall is maintaining the Lincoln Ave music tradition.

My grandparents used to take me to Little Eddie's, a great little corner joint around 59th & Pulaski. It was always a highlight for me...chiliburger, fries, and a chocolate shake. The location is still there, last I saw, but is now a taco place (which I've heard has great food, as well).

Oh man, does this take me back. I grew up a block from Vito & Nick's...lived on their stuff. Also ordered from the old Luigi's a lot. Occasionally hit Angie's on Pulaski. We were definitely a pizza family! Had a cha

My grandparents lived a block away from Dove's on Pulaski. Lot of great memories of going there. Anyone frequent Margie's (?) at Armitage/Milwaukee? I keep wanting to stop in and see what it is like.
