Last time we ate that great chicken dinner was at YOUNKERS, which if I remember correctly was on Chicago Ave west of Michigan Ave back in 1964. Think they closed late 60's or early 70's.

On the far south side was Stevensons Bowling in the basement of a large building off the southwest corner of 79th and Cottage Grove (I think it was 79th) Went there many times in mid-50's.

That brings back memories!!! That might have been either Steves Hobby Shop below "the hill" on 111th st on the south side of the street, or, maybe Stu De Youngs Hobby Shop which was behind J C Pennys on 112th and Michigan. Born n raised near there

Does anyone have any info on the Pullman Club? Located in Pullman on east 111th st. Was used for banquets etc. in the 50's and 60's. Thanx!

Hi Mod75 Arts Rollaire rink was located on 147th st in Harvey, about 1/2 mile east of Halsted. It was just east of the railroad viaduct and just west of Model food supermarket

Hi for what its worth, he lived in the building at 10811 s prairie in the roseland neighborhood of chicago. dont know when or for how long. go to google maps for a good pic.

The only Rascals I remember was on Ogden ave (route 34) in Naperville. went there once or twice in mid 80's It was torn down sometime after that and a different business erected

Hello there was also Arts Rollaire Rink on 147th just east of the IC tracks on the north side of 147th in Harvey, In the summertime, they would open the sidewalls of the rink, hence the name Rollaire

Hello yes, thats the one at 147/Western went there quite a few times in 57 and 58. I believe it was torn down in late 58 to make room for I-57 interstate
