Sounds like some of these posts are from old neighbors. I graduated from St. Pascal's in 1973 and Alvernia in 1977!

Drop boxes for the mailmen back in the day. They would pick up the mail and then put it in their carts to deliver. Our mailman, Dominic the whistling mailman, would pretend to lock us up in the lock box! My have times have changed! Can you imagine what kind of trouble he would get in today?

Yes, wish I still had those president's. They also had coupons in the paper and you could get a different mini glass bottle each week for 10cents or so. I still have 8 of the bottles with the mini cork in them! What fun!

I saw that the Patio was open again when I drove past there 2 weeks ago on my way to Merrimac Park. I grew up on Warwick and Meade and it was fun looking at the old neighborhood! Sorry to hear that St. Pascal's is on the way out. Only 100 some students.
