Thanks for the reply Ted. We moved out of the neighborhood in 1970. Sometime in the 70's they turned it into a dance club or roller rink or something, and it was called the concrete jungle. Do you have any pic's or info from the Chicago & Pulaski area? Do you recall a tavern called Phil's Lounge? Thanks again! Ron

THANKS CHIPAST! I know G & L Bowl was called the "Concrete Jungle" in the 70's/80's. It was a grayish cement color. If anyone has any pictures of G & L Bowl or anything related to the Chicago and Pulaski Ave. area please let me know. Thanks,

Wow! It is a small world! We lived at 740 N. Springfield. I'm not sure I spelled the store name right. It was pronounced Mago's with a long A. It was a small corner store on Huron I believe directly across from an open lot that was used for bonfires on the 4th of July. They would collect and throw couches, mattresses, tv's or anything they could find for the fire. Never allow that today...
