OK, so you may not remember but ask family elders please. Apparently this man was a wagon maker expert. He also patented Roller Bearing Farm Wagons. I have a 2 ft old thin wood folding ruler(4 pieces held by brass rivets). It states the following: Peter Schuttler Company Founded 1843 Chicago/ The Schuttler Roller Bearing Thoroughly Tested and Guaranteed/ Roller Bearings Reduce Friction Save Time

Can anyone tell me aobut this shop? when? where? when was Chicagos last 4 digit phone numbers? Reason is..I found an old teeny tiny 1 1/2 inch, includes the bale for key chain I suppose, folding knife with 'faux' mother of pearl sides with the red lettering of Rinaldo Tailors CH.8286 on one side. Im sure this was an advertising piece, just want to know more. Thanks in advance.

I used to work for a Golden Bear Restaurant from 8/12/70 to 4/15/75 in Springfield, IL. It was located on the corner of 6th & Ash which was the main drag (route 66) coming into Spfld from the south.
