For some time, I have been trying in vain to find photos or any information about what stood at the six-corner intersection of Avondale, Central Park & Addison. Today, it's right where Addison crosses over the Kennedy, and Avondale & Central Park are no longer through streets. Anybody have any recollections?

The site only launched a few weeks ago, I am told that they are in the process of updating the interface to make it more user-friendly and give feedback on particular photos. Also keep in mind that alignment can't always be 100% exact, since we are held to the perspective that the Google Streetview car takes the photo from. I just came across this website, which I think will be of interest to many people here. It allows users to crowdsource vintage photos of cities and creates an overlay in Google Streetview for comparisons.
