hi friends back in the day there where auditions by the city for a summer troubadour program. they actually called it the jane byrne troubadours. the auditions that i attended where held at "the body politic theater" on lincoln avenue. i remember the place was packed with every kind of musician street artist you could imagine. hundreds auditioned but only 50 where picked. i walked

thanks way out and pk so glad to hav a picture of the koffee kup. all you see now is the bricked over remnant of the restaurant. it's funny how many times i would pass the place as a child and teen and never stepped a foot into it. thanks for the great photos. peace, rich

i grew up on leavitt and north avenue from 1960 til foreclosure in 2013. was wondering if there are any photos of the koffee kup reataurant that literally was a whole in the wall at the victor hotel. if you pass buy you can see where they bricked over the entrance of the restaurant. it was on the south side of north avenue just west of hoyne. any info would be apreciated. peace, rich
