been to the shop n bag. also remember a national tea on 63rd in between central and naragansett, an old kroger on pulaski and 58th I think it was, a jewel on 55th and keeler, and an OLD hillman's on pulaski north of 47th I believe, all long gone now...

I remember access to a basement cafeteria inside a walgreens downtown somewhere, I think. It had other places too, like a barber shop and a boot shine stand. wow dredging up old memories...

Oh and remembered a couple more... a Hillman's on Pulaski north of 47th st, and a kroger on pulaski around 58th st, anyone recall any more?

I grew up on the southwest side of Chicago, and remember an A & P next to the shopper's world/community family center near Midway, which is now a parking lot for the airport. There was also a Jewel at the corner of 55th and Keeler. I also seem to recall a Jewel on Archer near Narragansett which turned into the "in the round" dinner playhouse.
