Art at Lincoln Park Zoo

There is a piece of art on the path by the zebras at Lincoln Park Zoo. It is a terra cotta relief mounted on a small brick structure. The plaque says it was found in a yard on the north side of Chicago. Does anyone know how it got to Lincoln Park?
