Early 90's Polish Restaurant

Anyone remember a Polish sit down restaurant in East Chicago back in the early nineties that was very popular and very good, is it still there? If not any recommondations in Chicago or the suburbs as I am coming back for the first time in 20 years and will be all over. .Thanks
