victor hotel on north avenue and hoyne

i grew up on leavitt and north avenue from 1960 til foreclosure in 2013. was wondering if there are any photos of the koffee kup reataurant that literally was a whole in the wall at the victor hotel. if you pass buy you can see where they bricked over the entrance of the restaurant. it was on the south side of north avenue just west of hoyne. any info would be apreciated. peace, rich

The sign survives and is now hanging outside of a hipster bar on Sangamon Street.

so glad to hav a picture of the koffee kup. all you see now is the bricked over remnant of the restaurant. it's funny how many times i would pass the place as a child and teen and never stepped a foot into it. thanks for the great photos. peace, rich
