hello everyone
i am looking for images of South State from Van Buren to what would be known as Congress today im looking from the the 1920s through the demolition of the area in the early 70s mostly focused on the tattoo shops and Arcades that housed them. if anyone can help out that would be great...ive been searching for years thanks

In the Herbert Ashbury book Gem of the Prairie: An Informal History of the Chicago Underworld, the west side of State Street from Van Buren to Harrison, was the heart of "Whiskey Row"; where every building was occupied by a saloon, wine room, and gambling house.
