Wasn't that Evergreen Bank for a short while? I believe I went to the Cash Station there a few times when it was.

If you're interested I have a whole brochure about this bank that was put together for it's dedication as well as several photos. The original State Bank of Clearing was located on 63rd and Central and opened in 1913. I have photos of this building as well. Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send to you.

Bowler, this is a vintage real photo postcard image from my collection of the Clearing State Bank taken very shortly after the bank opened. Notice they don't even have any sinage yet, just a sign in the window. [URL=http://imgur.com/Dtm42]

Thanks Frank. I had found this postcard online. I'm not sure of the exact date of the "Hawk's Drug Store" photo, but I have other photos of the building and the Drug Store sign is not there. The photos I have are copies of copies so they are not too clear but I am hopeful, I recently met a 100 year old resident of Clearing who is going to share several binders of old photo's, etc.
