There was 33 pages of spam today in the General Discussion.

To much crap for me as well. So long FC Forumites.

I just don't get why the moderators don't at least delete this stuff.

I agree with all you guys. Where are the moderators???? Who's running the store?

Don't give up. Keep the posts coming. Make comments on every thing and anything concerning Chicago. Keep our posts on the top of the page. I found this site by accident looking up some of our old gangs in the Back of the Yards.
I made 300 posts or comments so far since finding this site in January.

They SHOULD clean up the worthless spam...

I talked to the FC folks last weekend. The SPAM has gotten so bad, they are moving to another platform. When? Dunno.

Apparently, something in the forum software has been compromised. Was no where near as bad in the past.

For those here that think the FC folks don't know (or don't care) -- they do.

WayOut, please be sure to come back. Your posts have always been interesting and enlightening.

How are we going to know what platform they moved to? Maybe they can wipe this forum clean and we can start all over with Forgotten Chicago.

I will definitely check in from time to time and here's hoping it gets moved to a new platform soon.

By the way, I will be volunteering at some of the Open House Chicago sites in Woodlawn this year (weekend of 10/17), so if you see an old car in front of one of them, come inside and say hi.

I agree. I don't know much about computers, but I will try and comment on different topics so they will move above the spam ones.

Does anyone know why "Word Press" has shut down. None of the blogs like from JR Schmidt, Chicago History Today are not online now.
