Weber the Weaver Chairs Caned & Rushed in Evanston "Weaving done with Western Country Music"
Anyone have any info on this guy.
I found what appears to be a trivet (that can also be hung on the wall, like so many of them) made out of wood that has an example of the work he does on chairs, so it also works as a bit of advertising for him. It has a piece of yellow tape on the back that is printed with the following:
Cane & Rush Seats
By WEBER THE WEAVER
2205 McDaniel Avenue
Evanston, ILL. 60201 Ph. UN 4-7905
(which I believe is, at least currently, a residence).
I found this image of a newspaper (unidentified) from October 20, 1966 that shows him at an address at 829 Chicago Av and UN 4-6800. Don't know if that was before or after McDaniel Ave.
Funniest part is the ad says "Weaving done with Western Country Music."
