Loyola, Depaul Football

While in the library, I picked up a copy Of Chicago History magazine, and was surprised to see that both Loyola and Depaul once had football teams. Loyola last played football in 1930 and Depaul in 1938.

At Loyola, where Halas Hall (next to the CTA tracks on the west side of campus) is at, was where the bleachers were, when Loyola had a football team. That whole campus changed so much in the last ten years. They even tore down the Alumi Gym a year ago.
