Do either of the yellow signs independently mark am existing street?

Its pretty weird. Unlike the Eggleston it is so out of place.

Speaking of that area there was a great old building. The District furniture store was like a block long and really stood out with a long and subtle arched roof. A Midway classic.

visted the sign. Looks original in terms of rusty post etc. However, does anyone think it was put there after the fact cause it is so suspicious. Where signs that small? It is so obvious, why would it not have been taken down?

Yes, they were all same size, so long street names were harder to read.

I meant the pole sorry, really short.

Pole size varies. Probably unique to that industrial district; I bet it was covered with that type of pole originally when it was subdivided.
