I remember working at a factory when I was 18 that was located in that area.the company was called Ace Fastener and they made staplers.lots of older women worked there but you got some teenagers during the summer.another place was radio materials that made some parts for backs of radios.there was also the cemeteries on Pulaski that were right by there.

I remember the cemeteries, we used to pass them on Foster Rd on the way to La Baugh
woods when we "took the day off" from Roosevelt high school.

there are still some industries there. on google it shows an American Labelmark, a "Midco International", a Steiner Industries, Beltone, and a couple others. the weird thing is, there's a tiny strip of cemeteries right in the middle of those businesses, Ridge lawn and Bethel. are these the oldest cemeteries in that group around there?
