I first noticed this building at 6462 S. Central, at the NW corner of 65th Central; in an a 1923 aerial photo that bowler had posted on an earlier Clearing topic.

Here is a Google Map view of the building:

The Google photo also shows the Central avenue street sign, with the Honorary Street Name of "George Hill Drive," from 65th to 63rd; (Robert M. Hill the Clearing historian), which includes the George Hill Co. Hardware at 6314 S. Central of the past.
The building in this photo is presently the Twisted Shamrock Pub, and research revealed a customer's comment on a web-site, that it has been "remodeled from its Vaughn's days."
Polk's 1928-29 Directory, for this address, shows, " Peter Regus . . . soft drinks" ; which is understandable, since the date is during the depths of Prohibiition.
An interesting building from the past; and maybe built in the late 19th century.
