Anyone remember juke box saturday night on Lincoln avenue in Chicago? it was big in the late 80s and early 90s. Right in the DePaul neighborhood, had the front end of a car sticking out the front of the building. I had a lot of good times there with my buddies, I even met my wife there in 1989. Good oldies music, good people. My friends and I got in good with the owners, we used to sometimes stay after closing and drink with the bartenders and "silent partner" Frankie LaMotta. Knew the DJ pretty well too, Lee Belinda, we used to make him play Tom Jones songs and we'd be out there with our sunglasses performing.

It was the place to be on a Saturday night in 1983. We use to go there quite a bit then. They use to show the movie Animal House all the time on the TV monitors.
