Patek's Store on 25th & Washtenaw (I think) and Zempsky Dept store on California & 22nd

I remember a general store called Patek's on the corner of 25th & Washtenaw and wondered how long they stayed in business or whatever happened to them. I also remember a department store Zempsky's on California and 22nd.

Don't know how long Patek stayed in the neighborhood, we moved to Garfield Ridge in 1954.
