Shock Theatre was on Channel 7, right? I remember that and Channel 5's counter-part Midnight Movie Thrillerama. This's all around 1960 and I watched them to the extent a little kid might sneakily stay up late (I remember my parents regularly let me watch the 1st half hr of Jack Paar's Tonight show, but not beyond that). Those old horror movies were all black & white and really scary to me then (to be sure there was no local TV color until mid-'60s in general). I remember Marty Faye (at least I recall the name) plus there's also Jim Moran.

You mentioned JIM MORAN THE COURTESY MAN - he had great car commercials with HUDSON and then with FORD. I met him when I bought a new 1957 Ford Sunliner Convert - he was at the showroom that day. I just turned 20 - what a nice guy ! JIM is down here in Florida and I think he is/was the leader for TOYOTA ? You can google him and find out. I remember him showing the Hudson Hornet on blck and white TV saying it has the "STEP DOWN" design. Those old car ads had class and were fun to watch - not like today.

looking at folks talking about the afternoon 3 stooges show with Andy starr (bob bell). I vaguely remember an intro to, I think, the buster Keaton shorts. It was a guy talking about "my uncle, ....... man". and then they'd go into the short. I'm just not sure who that was, or if it was part of the Buster Keaton stuff.

Can anyone clear up that foggy memory for me??

The Funny Manns, featuring Cliff Norton, but I don't remember it on that show.
